Speaker Bio
As General Counsel, VP and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for Winrock International, Charlotte is responsible for all areas of compliance, risk management, and internal audit. In the risk area, this includes managing the organization’s ERM program, including annual risk assessments and mitigation plans, as well as program risk management. In the audit area, her office manages all internal audits for the organization, using a risk-based approach. Charlotte previously served as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at The Nature Conservancy, and as a Faculty Lecturer at Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law, and as an Adjunct Law Professor at American University’s Washington College of Law. She earned her J.D. degree from the National Law Center at George Washington University and a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Virginia.
