Speaker Bio
Liz Bautista is the Underwriting Regional Manager for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states for Great American’s Specialty Human Services division. Liz started her insurance career in insurance agency operations and in 2010, expanded her expertise in national insurance carrier sales and underwriting, focusing on the nonprofit and human services niche. Liz applies a broad perspective to risk management issues and believes in innovative, collaborative solutions as key components for an effective carrier, agent, and insured relationship.
She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where she majored in Political Science. Liz is a member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW) and serves as a board member for Mujeres Latinas en Accion, a domestic violence nonprofit organization. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation.
