Mitch Mouchabeck serves as the Vice President of Enterprise Risk for the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta. Mitch began his career with the Y in 1976 and joined the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta in 1996.
Mitch is passionate with solid grounding and experience in nonprofit business operations, continuity, risk mitigation, staff safety training. He works to actively inspire, motivate, and develop individuals at all organizational levels, to create and promote a positive reputation in the community for ultimate safety practices and a top-notch risk management culture.
He manages all enterprise risk and safety-related best practices for the organization including the full array of insurance portfolio products and claim mitigation.
With his broad and seasoned experience, Mitch continues to challenge his peers with weaving enterprise risk into the organization’s broad strategic plan.
A 2017 graduate of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center’s inaugural Risk Leadership Certificate Program (RLCP), Mitch thrives on assisting other YMCAs and nonprofits by sharing his considerable knowledge and expertise.
