Velvet Pierre is the Managing Director of Assessment and Analysis at Teach For America where she provides oversight and direction to the organization through the management of internal audit and compliance activities. She is a licensed CPA with over 10 years’ experience working as a regulator and internal auditor in various industries including government, not–for-profit investment banking, insurance, and construction. Velvet graduated from Baruch College with a B.B.A in Accounting.
